Since Colin and I moved into our house I have had nothing but storage and organizing issues. Our house is a small war time house, perfect for just the two of us, but limited on space in general! few closets, and small rooms. So I have decided to create space in every room, one room at a time. Starting with the bed room.
Here is my dresser, I put all my necklaces, face creams, morning ritual stuff on my dresser. But it looks like this and half the time i can't find what I want.
When I was looking for ideas on DIY projects for my wedding I came across my new favourite website. Tip Junkie
This website has tips on cleaning, organizing, party planning, crafts, everything! I'm so glad I stumbled on this website.
So anyways I was looking around and saw this
calendar holder
That was posted by the Fabric Market. This idea inspired me to create a holder for the necklaces my aunt makes me. I found some pieces of wood in the basement (I guess Colin was right, they would come in handy sometime hahaha) Some fabric pieces, small hooks, staple gun and the wall hanging things. I'm not sure what it is called.
So I took all this stuff and turned it into this!
Much nicer eh! Much thanks to the folks at Tip Junkie and The Fabric Market!
I do plan on making the Calender Holder when I get to the kitchen.

I'm Back!
Happy New Year everyone! Well it's been quite the year for me which I why I have not been updating my blog. Colin and I moved in to a house so we have been very busy making it our own. We also got engaged! Planning a wedding is no small feat I will say that much! The wedding will be in October and I can't wait!
We also adopted 2 cats! Ronnie an 8 year old male brown tabby, and Leena another 8 year old female black cat. Both enjoy batting at my knitting and laying on my sewing.
